Hi all. I'd like to get a small is (for use at home) commercial oven
that will be hotter than my current plug in the wall oven in my kitchen. Ideally I need something in the 800-1000C range. Anyone have an idea. Jonathan |

Just google for commercial salamandar and you'll get pages. I'd go to my local restaurant supply store to buy. http://www.galasource.com/prodList.c...lers,1,1,F,MX1 -- History is a vast early warning system Norman Cousins |

I'm not sure many home kitchens are set up to handle something like that. |

For cooking steak use your stove's broiler, gets plenty hot enough. You can't really cook steak in an oven anyway, regardless how hot, unless you like baked/leather steak |

That is 1800 F. I doubt you will find anything like that outside of a blacksmith shop or heat treating plant. |
