I wouldn't ask Allan to do the tub. He's working outside in 95 degrees all
day in the hot Florida sun. If my friend's daughter is willing to clean it
for free, I'll accept her help. She's done my dishes for me occasionally,
too.

It's a symbiotic relationship. I fix their computers, they help me out with
cleaning and such when I can't do it.

I may not agree with their lifestyle or their ethics, but we somehow break
even. :~)

Agreed. Wholeheartedly.

But it's not going to happen. Too many arsewipes around.

Jeez......... jmacqueen and Offelia would get their knickers in a tight
twist if they knew I have friends come and clean my house once a
week.... and get paid to do it!!

Oh, and I also have another friend who mows my yard every couple of
weeks, and gets paid to do it!!

You've no clue, Ophelia. She posts all the time about how she can't afford
food yet she's going to let these neighbors take advantage of her? Ahem.
Not a good idea. BTW, look in a cookbook for a white cake recipe. It's not
rocket science.

I've got Mastercook and I also have BigOven. I use BigOven more frequently,
though.

If she offends you so much, why do you read her posts? You do know how to
killfile I take it?

Anyway, I can't think of anything more on topic that asking for a recipe!

I think she was looking for a *good* recipe. One that someone had tried
and enjoyed. You should take up knitting and yelling at the
neighborhood kids for letting their ball roll into your lawn.

But, but, but, but......... Kili....... I want a chocolate cake for my
birthday!!!

And you'll have to send it to Tasmania, because that's where we're going
to be celebrating my birthday his year :-)

(Last years b'day party lasted 17+ days....... this years I'm cutting it
back to 10!!)

(She who works made the 'suggestion'!!)

make me a wee cake for mine)

Your john? Do you mean that professionally?

I'll bet he's happy to scrub his WIFE'S tub if she asks. All those
lonesome birthdays, Valentine's Days, and other special days. Being a
mistress really sucks, doesn't it? No wonder you're so freaking
bitter.

Leave kili alone. She's doing something out of love for someone she
cares about. At least she has someone to bake a cake for.

Let's *not* leave Kili alone. Did she get a recipe? My wife made a
white cake recently. She got several good comments. She got the recipe
out of the Joy of Cooking. It was a three tier cake (a wedding cake),
and she used 24 egg whites to serve about 130 people. She was the baker
at a two week church camp. The couple decided to get married during the
camp. My wife had to make dessert anyway, so that was dessert that
night.

There was a lot of love at this camp (including the two weddings). I
think Damsel and Kili would have fitted in wonderfully. I won't say
anything more.

Yellow cake? As the Nigerians.

Using public assistance to serve 60 people. Boy, wait until Sheldon
sees this.
We''l be up to our ears in unicorns.

I think that the food stamp program could be improved drastically. If
the choices were restricted to more along the lines of the WIC
programs, it would positively affect public health, and reduce
resentment toward participants in the program. Can anyone out there
make a good case for $20/# prime fillets being eligible?

Now, I'm not saying that it be as limited as WIC, but you've all seen
people using food stamps in ways that are indefensible, although
perfectly legal.

The way the system works now, it looks as if it were designed to
inspire hostility toward the poor. I ask, "Whose interest does THAT
serve?"

The whole thread was a kind of Sheryl Rosen flashback.

Doesn't bode well for her.

ackk I wouldn't touch mcquown with a barge poll. she is one of the nastiest
pieces of work I have every come across. kili is doing something nice but
of course madam can't understand that. She is a taker, not a giver as I
found out myself.

Great. A recipe from the fat, White-trash pig, Carroll
