Pandora,

Since you've been missing FOR SO LONG, the cabal, TINC, would like to know of
any of your most recent recipes.

All recipes will be stamped "Confidential" in the r.f.cabal TINC archives.

Pandora

Cabal: http://tinyurl.com/23brql

r.f.c is NOT that, as far as I understand.

TINC: There Is No Cabal (the proper r.f.c response)

Who's with me here???

In Italia, the word "cabala" means the meaning of numbers and simbols.
Especially numbers. If, for example, you dream of a dead parent you must
play 47 (This number means a person who died and speaks in your dream) on
the national lottery).

Pandora, I have never seen ricotta with mushrooms, but it sounds like
something I would enjoy. There are several Italian markets in my
neighborhood that make fresh Ricotta and I will look for such a cheese.
Thank you for telling me.

There ya go! Someone asked only a couple of days ago about what to do
with the round zucchini and you came bouncing in with an answer. See?
You can't take off like that anymore. We simply *won't* let you!

Pancetta Wrapped Shrimp

Recipe By: Calgary Cook-In 2001
Serving Size: 6
Preparation Time: 0:00
Categories: Appetizers/Nibblers

Amount Measure Ingredient Preparation Method
20 basil leaves
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
20 jumbo shrimp (ed. note: 20 is only enough
if your two!)
10 thin slices lean pancetta sliced in half

Combine the first 11 ingredients - except the basil leaves, in a medium
sized mixing bowl. Add the shrimp and marinate for 30 minutes. Wrap the
shrimp with the pancetta and a basil leaf and secure with a toothpick.
Preheat the barbeque and brush the grids with oil. Grill on high heat, 3
to 4 minutes per side, until the shrimp becomes opaque and curls.
Enjoy!!

My advice, then, is not to cook duck or goose in an oven not cleaned.
Select road to follow-- cook greasy things and clean or never cook
greasy things and don't clean. The other road leads to fires.

It is solid CO2 or carbon dioxide gas I believe. It's what they use to
create "smoke" at the opera. I've not seen it here... wonder why? I
don't see chef's blow torches, either.

Be assured that it will not work unless you rush straight to the airport
and put it on a direct flight to wherever it must go. It's very
volatile and in the postal service would disappear in a few hours,
leaving the next 3 months for terrible things to happen.

husband won 't find them. They are very tasty, and good for my
endorphins....if he found them, he would eat all my dark chocolates!
