It's moderately priced at 10 Euro/year, about $14 US currently, and provides access to most text newsgroups. Its reliability and retention are very good. Is it something I am doing wrong? I tried to find my recipe,
such as it is, for chicken cacchiatore and cannot. Then I noticed any results I got in all my ways of searching for it were only in the last year or two. Does Google Groups still have older posts? Or am I just really confused. Sign me Aggravated, nancy |

I'm sure the more annoyed I became, the more likely I was doing something wrong. When I couldn't find any reference to the word water between 81 and 2005, I decide to stop irritating myself. Heh. The cacciatore by any spelling turned out fine anyway. nancy |

Newsgroups: rec.food.cooking From: Nancy Young > Date: Mon, 26 Jan 2004 18:14:55 -0500 Local: Mon, Jan 26 2004 4:14 pm Subject: Chicken Cacciatore Okay, here's my mil's recipe, no big deal. But it is what I'm making for dinner. In her words. 6 chicken thighs 2 cans of tomato sauce (any supermarket brand) 1 green bell pepper (cut in small pieces) 1/4 ground pepper 1 tablespoon oregano 1 teaspoon garlic powder Take skin off chicken. Heat skillet, add about a tablespoon of oil. Brown chicken, both sides, medium heat. Place browned chicken in sauce pot. Pour tomato sauce over chicken. Add seasonings plus pepper. Simmer for approximately 45 minutes. Stir occasionally. PS: If you want to, you can brown 2 or 3 sausages and add to chicken in sauce pot. (laughing!) The rest is almost incomprehensible but I get that you need to drain the fat from the sausage. At any rate, I brown the chicken that I have skinned and cut off the fat, (thighs, only thighs) in the sausage fat. Smells great in here. I know, not Goremett. nancy -- A husband is someone who takes out the trash and gives the impression he just cleaned the whole house. |

Gotcha. I thought this was an example of "smaller ISP's that still do it", meaning provide in-house news servers -- rather than using Giganews servers. Which I figured would be separate from the in-house servers I thought you were saying they used. -- Blinky RLU 297263 Killing all posts from Google Groups The Usenet Improvement Project: http://blinkynet.net/comp/uip5.html |

Provided you don't want binaries, one of the best, if not THE best is: <http://www.individual.net/> It's run by Freie Universität Berlin. The *annual* fee is currently 10 EUR. (Not sure what that is at the moment in USD, but it was about 16 AUD when I renewed earlier this year.) Cheers, Phred. -- LID |
