Default OT What are your favorite Usenet groups?

I am setting up my sister's machine.
I have showed her a few Usenet groups that she might be interested in.
While I have her computer I would like to add a few groups to her
list.

Can some women suggest a few she might be interested in?

I have a couple for her on pets as she loves animals.
She has a quilting group and the cooking group, but I don't think she
has ever posted in the cooking group.

If only women can make suggestions, alt.*******.feminist.poetry may be
appropriate.

What's she interested in? What does she need help with? What is she
curious about? What can she help others with? There's probably at
least one group that would answer each question, but she (and maybe you)
are the only ones who know the answers.

And perhaps some she hopes her sister will never know about!

Agreed.

I'd just teach her to do a search.

With over 80,000 newsgroups, there is a lot to choose from!

I've got 12 in my queue at the moment, and it varies.
