I just updated my Webshots album of notable dinners... here's a few
from last month that I never got around to sharing yet. Breaded pork chops and rice with black beans - the first time I've ever made breaded chops... I put them in a ziplock bag and hit them with the knife sharpener for want of a more suitable implement, then crumbed them in seasoned crumbs and quickly fried them. Delicious and so easy! This goes into the regular rotation... http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/...ome-and-garden Stir-fry chicken noodles - I used fresh noodles and a bag of pre-cut stirfry vegetables, both from the refrigerator cabinet in the grocery store. The noodles came with 'sweet and sour' seasoning, but I put that in the bin and made my own with honey/soy/ginger. It was very quick to prepare and highly edible. Next time I'll add some sesame seeds for contrast... (I know it's better to fix your own veggies, but I was in a hurry...) http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/...ome-and-garden |

I don't photograph EVERYTHING I make because that would just be boring (one plate of grilled chicken looks much like another), but if it's something I haven't tried before, or if it comes out looking particularly appetising I'll snap a shot for posterity. :) |

That's so silly... it's not like you're doing it to a chop with an inch of fat on the outside - most pork is so lean now it doesn't have an ounce of fat left on it! It's no different to making yourself a pork sandwich or something. |

Looks like the improvement has been on two sides: less fat, and a lower percentage of high-colestherol fats. -- Vilco Think pink, drink rose' |

Properly prepared breaded pork cutlets are difficult to tell from breaded veal cutlets. |
