Default Some more food photos...

I just updated my Webshots album of notable dinners... here's a few
from last month that I never got around to sharing yet.

Breaded pork chops and rice with black beans - the first time I've
ever made breaded chops... I put them in a ziplock bag and hit them
with the knife sharpener for want of a more suitable implement, then
crumbed them in seasoned crumbs and quickly fried them. Delicious and
so easy! This goes into the regular rotation...

Stir-fry chicken noodles - I used fresh noodles and a bag of pre-cut
stirfry vegetables, both from the refrigerator cabinet in the grocery
store. The noodles came with 'sweet and sour' seasoning, but I put
that in the bin and made my own with honey/soy/ginger. It was very
quick to prepare and highly edible. Next time I'll add some sesame
seeds for contrast... (I know it's better to fix your own veggies, but
I was in a hurry...)

Looks tasty, generous, and very nicely plated.

Thanks Sheldon... I don't photograph EVERYTHING I make because that
would just be boring (one plate of grilled chicken looks much like
another), but if it's something I haven't tried before, or if it comes
out looking particularly appetising I'll snap a shot for posterity.

I have never tasted breaded pork chops. They look very nice.

You should try them Pandora... they're so easy to make, and they taste
quite different to regular grilled chops because the crust is
seasoned. Also, they cook in five minutes because they're so thin!

"weigth-watchers" and like made lotsa damage also here
But I still bread pork chops sometimes, live and let die.

LOL! That's so silly... it's not like you're doing it to a chop with
an inch of fat on the outside - most pork is so lean now it doesn't
have an ounce of fat left on it! It's no different to making yourself
a pork sandwich or something.

Exactly. Looks like the improvement has been on two sides: less fat,
and a lower percentage of high-colestherol fats.

I agree
Then, you don't eat them everyday.

Properly prepared breaded pork cutlets are difficult to tell from
breaded veal cutlets.

Those two dishes didn't have 'recipes' per se... I usually make my
dinners up as I go along!
