Just because he dislikes uni-taskers does not mean he won't own one when
it's really useful.

You shouldn;t take TV chefs to seriously. After all, they are 98%
entertainment and 2% cooking. Alton is the only one I know of, currently
aired on FoodTV, who actually manages to get some useful cooking info
across. I wish he'd drop the silly stuff, though.

It's his silly stuff that makes his serious stuff memorable. It's like
back in school, I remember what I learned and the teachers I learned
from who made learning fun. So many dull teachers I can't even remember
names, nor lessons.

Keep learning fun and it works, and that is what Alton does.
