We are contemplating the purchase of an induction cooktop. I see both
advantages and disadvantages, and would appreciate any comments from any folks who have used them. Thanks, Vic |

Energy saving shouldn't be important, unless you run a restauraunt. It's a quick responsing unit and better than gas when it comes to safety. I love the idea if I boil water dry....it will turn off. The thing can sense when to turn itself off! . Now that pretty cool. I recently purchase an AEG (24" wide) built-in introduction hub. It's been approx. 1 year of practical experience for me. I must say, it's probably the most powerful, responsive cook top I've used without a doubt. Whatever setting you like; from mark 10 to mark 2 or the reverse from 2 to 10; it will roar it's way to that specific setting! Certainly a different experience and you need to get use to the idea that 'real' power is at your finger tips. Just my thoughts and experience. |
