I got to thinking the other night while watching Hell"s Kitchen if
Gordon Ramsey is the way he is when he is off camera, or is it the fact
that he has to hyped it up a bit because it's television, it seems to
me that they pick those that they know for the most part will not be
able to go the distance with maybe one or two that are really good at
what they do, I had worked when I was younger at a Kitchen with a chef
at a nursing home helping the chef, he was no where near what Mr Ramsey
is, never the less, I do enjoy the show. I wonder just how much is
scripted so as to add the extra drama any thoughts?? Thank you

Obviously it's played to the camera. But if you can't stand the heat, get
out of the kitchen. Plain and simple. If you were a line cook in my
restaurant and fished cooked pasta (Jen) out of the garbage and tried to
serve it, I'd have called you names even Chef Ramsay couldn't imagine.

What's up with the way they stand at the end of the show? They look
like they are in chef's boot camp.
