Sheldon said I had "just arrived". Regardless of whether a two-year tenure
makes me a newbie or not, it's clear that I haven't just arrived.

Besides, I don't see what the big deal about newbies is. In the newsgroups
I've participated in, I've frequently seen a person's first post be polite,
entertaining, and full of interesting and accurate information. And then
there are the people like Sheldon, who posts rants full of dull name-calling
and inaccuracies.

Who do you think adds more value to the newsgroup?
