Default Sorta dumb question

My sister was in a good mood last night (a rare occurance at any time,
much less recently) and gave me a jar of stuff she had failed to make
into sorbet. She suggested using it for a lemonade like drink or
adding it to seltzer for a spritzer, but I'd like to try and make it
into sorbet, but don't know how.

Advice welcome, insults go back where you came from

It was supposed to be lemon sorbet, but she didn't have room or time
to freeze it?

Can you just freeze it with a little churning as it sets?
Perhaps in a food processor.
Id try it, at least make nice ice to add to a Vodka and Soda or a Gin and
Tonic?

Sorbet, or sherbet, is made just like ice cream. If you have an ice
cream maker just use that. If not, you could make granita.

Easiest way to make granita is to pour the jar of stuff into largest
surface area jelly roll/8x8/9x13 pan that will fit flat in the freezer
and freeze it. Every 20 - 30 minutes take the pan out and use a fork
and scrape the mixture until it is broken into small bits - sorta slushy
looking in the beginning.

Add to smoothies, or make a margarita-type drink with alcohol & ice cubes in
the blender.

Do you have an ice cream maker? If so, sorbet is easy, just fruit puree and simple
syrup. You make it just as you would ice cream.

If you don't, you can freeze it, then put chunks into a food processor until smooth
and then return to the freezer until it's the correct consistency.

That sounds like less work than the fork scraping every 30 minutes.
If I pour it into my half-sheet pans, it'll be thin enough to break
into chunks easily for the processor.

Thanks
