He doesn't specifically say "condensed" but he's definitely adding water, albeit only 1/2 a can. Anyone with half a brain, even a guy who can't cook, could figure this out ![]() |

he forgot to mention water up front though. Incredible oversight. If a
bachelor were following along step by step it could become extremely confusing when he suddenly whips out the water. A good reason to watch a video-recipe in its entirety at least once before trying the dish. He also didn't show what one should do if, in pouring the soup from the can, some stays stuck in the can. This happens quite often, especially with condensed soup. In that case you have to take spoon and go in and try to scoop out as much as possible from the can and put it in the bowl. |

He also didn't identify the microwave oven in the video. What if the viewer doesn't have a microwave? How do you then explain a pan instead of a bowl and a burner on a stove or a hot plate?! Poor guy, he'd have to go to McDonald's instead ![]() |

Poor guy, he'd have to go to > McDonald's instead ![]() I didn't even look at the video, after reading these few posts don't need to... in reality a single guy who doesn't cook (and even if he could cook) would open the condensed soup with his trusty can opener and just have at it with a spoon directly from the can, no cooking, no water, just a six pack and a bag of nachos... the can of soup so dinner is nutritious and gourmet, and because the two week old slice of cold pizza was too moldy. Yoose think a single guy eating alone who eats condensed soup is gonna dirty a pot and a dish, never happen... the spoon gets a quick rinse and sits in the sink until tomorrow's dinner, canned spaghetios with canned vienna sausage... the empty cans will take months to make it to the trash, probably just roll em under the couch with all the beer cans. I have had a couple of people work for me who would not realize that and if he'd seen the video he'd never think to read the instructions. I would have thought that most people would peel potatos before making mashed potatos but I know of at least one instance when the 'cook' didn't realize that he was supposed to do this.
