Default Pot Roast

It's in the 50s here ‹ yeay!! I love being cold in August!

I put a 4# well-browned boneless chuck in the oven at about 2:30.
Dumped some Penzeys English Prime Rib seasoning on it and I'd stuck some
garlic cloves into gashes I made in the roast.

I boiled new potatoes and did a quick fry up of some zucchini sticks,
sweet red and yellow peppers, and a tomato, chunked, all in some
garlicked-up olive oil. Damn fine meal. The gravy is terrific. Most
of the liquid for the gravy came from some Bear Creek brand beef base
and a couple cups of water.

We accompanied it with some of the chili sauce I entered in this year's
Fair. Stuff's pretty good! Woo-woo!

Sounds very tasty. Instead of plain water with that Bear Creek I'da
used Genny's Cream Ale

I wish. It's still damn hot in St. Loo. I've been repairing my deck,
and it's been some tough going some days.
