THAT is interesting... ;-)

Some of the cutest corn holders I found were some animal ones.
One holder is the front half of the critter (like a cow or pig) and the
other holder is the back half.

That would be so cute for dinner guests!

Since I did not live with my father I have now idea where or when he
bought them. Daddy died 40 years ago so it may be a lost cause.

Interested, Susan, to know the origination of the "Hacker." Do you know?

Thanks.

Thanks, Susan. Me, forever the genealogist, looking at names -- Hacker was
a pioneer in WV in 1769 -- just curious.

It was Hacker, Incorporated in Culver City Ca. It is so old there is
no zip code on the box.

Pampered Chef peddles some that screw into the ear of corn. You screw
it in before you cook (stovetop) the corn. The handles don't get hot to
touch. I like them but usually only use them for La Twerp.

They look like silver plate... are they?

In any case, that "screw" type leaves me cold. Give me the two
pronged variety.

Cheerleader Ninjas is wonderful in its cheesiness. My husband
rented it, intending to watch it by himself while I sat and read a
book, but I was so fascinated by Cheerleader Ninjas that I watched
the entire thing, transfixed.

The use of the blow-up sex doll as a stunt double was possibly the
best part.

Damn you. ;-)
I am so going to have to rent that now and play it at my sisters' place
with some Act II popcorn or something...
