Y'all can keep Idahos. :-p They taste like dirt compared to the other two! YMMV and all that of course. -- Peace, Om Remove _ to validate e-mails. It all has to be brought in by truck, and that costs gas. Fortunately, spuds are easy to grow. I've got a couple of 25 gallon pots that I'm fixin' to experiment with some reds. Leave a few red potatoes in a cool, dry dark spot and they start to sprout. Stick 'em in a pot of sandy soil and go from there. :-) -- Peace, Om Remove _ to validate e-mails. They were really good! e. |

Your growing season is longer than mine. It might still be early enough. :-) Stacked old tires make good potato beds too. You can get LOTS of potatoes off of a single plant! -- Peace, Om Remove _ to validate e-mails. "My mother never saw the irony in calling me a Son of a bitch" -- Jack Nicholson |

I've not tried growing spuds since I was in high school, but I still remember how much fun it was! -- Peace, Om Remove _ to validate e-mails.
