I'll bet! :-)

Reds are my #1 favorite spud followed by Yukon golds.

Y'all can keep Idahos. :-p They taste like dirt compared to the other
two!

YMMV and all that of course.

I haven't noticed the regular price being higher, but I have noticed
that they haven't been going on sale much.

Hm, I'll have to look.
I've not bought any for a month or so.

Everything is going up due to fuel costs I imagine.
It all has to be brought in by truck, and that costs gas.

Fortunately, spuds are easy to grow. I've got a couple of 25 gallon pots
that I'm fixin' to experiment with some reds.

Leave a few red potatoes in a cool, dry dark spot and they start to
sprout.

Stick 'em in a pot of sandy soil and go from there. :-)

I've never liked sweet potatoes, but last week I had some sweet potatoe
fries dusted with a spice - coriander or cumin, I think Yesterday I bought
one sweet potatoe to see if I could duplicate the recipe. They were really
good!

I'm not sure how long the growing period is, but I can stick them in the
greenhouse when it freezes if I have to. Your growing season is longer
than mine. It might still be early enough. :-)

Stacked old tires make good potato beds too.

You can get LOTS of potatoes off of a single plant!

The gardening lists have more experience... but I don't mind. :-)

We can learn together.

I've not tried growing spuds since I was in high school, but I still
remember how much fun it was!
