They definitely lack the resources, however the birth control problem is
due in large part to religious terrorists from the US who should be at a
UN tribunal being charged with crimes against humanity.

Yes, but don't forget that they will form a market for those who do have
the survival skills and can barter for assistance. They aren't in total
isolation for the most part.

There are still a lot of guns in Canada, and the biggest factor is the
population to resources ratio which will serve to limit conflict.

Hi Pete,

Where did you live in CT? I spent 24 years there, too, mostly in
West Hartford.

Bad joke (but it came from a Hispanic person):

Q: How do you tell a Hispanic *******?

A: Over 14 and not pregnant.

But gangs would happen.
Hence the need to hoard ammo. ;-)

I don't do it, but I've thought about it.
It's rather expensive.

True. But there is also a shorter growing season and less arable land.
The greatest farming potential exists in South America.

My wife and I considered going to that restaurant today, but instead
decided on a BBQ joint.

You underestimate the farming in Canada, and you forget about the
livestock and game animals.

Yep. The best plantation one could do in such a situation would be
tobacco. And something to make smoking papers out of.

She was interviewed by Matt Lauer this morning. The poor girl does not

who cares? LOL

I'll let the members of The Augusta National know. They seem to do quite
well serving pimento cheese sandwiches on white bread to the "great
unwashed" <gaffaw> who are visitors there.. <snort> but I'm sure they're
dying to hear what people *you* know do. Or don't do. <snicker>

Not me. I'd want the kid to get an education. Without one, he/she could end
up in the White House.

It's not like "people" went into her home and dragged her out. She was a
beauty contestant in a national televised competition, for cripes sake,
and she gave a stupid answer to a question she should have been prepared
for. The Today show gave her a second chance and she barely redeemed
herself.

That certainly describes Omelet perfectly. She also likes to throw the
occasional foreign phrase into her messages in order to appear worldly.

Leaver her alone? She is the poster girl for wasted tax dollars in our
school system. That clip should be played to every teacher and school
administrator in the US.

After that, every blond with a recordable IQ should stone her for giving
them the "dumb blond" reputation.

Some of her bumbling was probably stage freight once she got started and she
knew she did not have a viable answer, but still, it was a mess.

Perhaps the Republican party would like to prop up another dimwit for
president. It worked with Bush. That girl will get a call someday.

Edwin, you are not a nice man. I recall that a while back, you seemed to
have
something other than vitriol and petty meanness to offer. I'm sorry you are
such
a dickhead.

As for this, "She is the poster girl for wasted tax dollars in our
school system" well, she probably tests well. That is what is happening
now, teachers are teaching the kids how to ace tests, not to learn anything.
It's CYOB all the way.

In any case, she is a child. And a gd beauty contest contestant, not a
budding nuclear
physicist. Joining the feeding frenzy does not look good on anyone.

Right. A teen-aged beauty contestant.

I'm not against white bread. I don't eat bread unless I order a deli
sandwich. In fact, when I make bread it's usually white, but my main
use for white flour is pizza crust (consider it a bread type recipe).

I've made whole wheat pizza crust and I think whole wheat tortillas
beat out pita bread with falafel (make mine a falafel wrap, not a
falafel "sandwich")... but that's another discussion. LOL

I think you are confusing meanness and truthfullness. The girl is not real
bright. You can have your opinion though.

It is still a fact that she is what she is, a poorly educated girl. She is
part of the future of our country, the people that will keep this land what
is it was, a world leader. Oh, that part is going to crap because we allow
this stuff to go on and make excuses. It won't get any better that way.
She is going to have to make her way in life and is poorly prepared to do
so. Sad, really.

Why would you want a food group?

If it's just a beauty contest, why do they ask them questions?

That is true.

I started my internet career on a poultry list...
It was not just the Aussies that called them "chooks".

I'm sorry that you are so enamored of only one dialect.

Your loss babe.

It's better than little child beauty contests.
Like the ones that ruined the (short) life of JonBenet Ramsey...
