Default Braising grass fed sirloin steaks

They came home uncooked from the camping trip. Too old to refreeze,
but still plenty good. I'm actually sick of wood smoke right now.
I've got a bunch of red potatoes in there too.
I'm also marinating a mature duck in low sodium soy sauce, garlic and
pureed jalapeños. Those things are a lot more difficult to
disarticulate than a stewing hen. My wife and son will go for the
beef and potatoes tonight. For me, I'm frying that duck.
Boy, the jalapeños are hot. Opening the blender after pureeing them
was a coughing experience.
