Very cool, thanks for sharing. They actually have better table manners than
a couple of my buddies.

I'm hoping Sheldon actually looked. :-)
It was a delightful video.

If I lived out in the boonies, I'd be tempted to try to tame them too.

Cute video. Unfortunately, there is a huge overpopulation of deer in most
areas. In many places they have to organize hunts to cull the deer
population, otherwise they'd die of starvation.

Where I live isn't exactly the boonies. I was driving to work and a deer
sprang out across the road in front of me. It was a *huge* buck and if it
I'd hit it my car would have been totalled. Hell, I could have been
totalled. And I've seent hem standing by the side of the road on Germantown
Parkway, which is a 6 lane divided thoroughfare in a shopping and restaurant
mecca. Mega traffic, very little undeveloped land to speak of. They're
everywhere.

Indeed. Including Canyon Lake locally.
It's not legal to hunt deer within certain city limits and many deer
over-populate as a result.

Texas white tale does tend to produce a LOT of twin fawns.

I've lived here now for 25 years.

I've managed to hit 3 deer so far and that's been with KNOWING that they
are around! I still have a cracked grill frame from the last one. I was
going slow enough, the damage was minor and the little beast ran off.

If I'd not been so careful in some areas, I'd be bankrupt by now in car
repairs from deer.

The White Tails are everywhere.

The worst problem occurs during hunting season which is coming up. It
seems to drive them closer to road crossings.

It is not legal to shoot deer on public roads. I'm beginning to think
the deer know this. ;-)

But that is still a cute video. <G>

That was cool. :-)

Thanks!

It's amazing how you can tame some animals with food treats.

Deer are so pretty.
