I have stopped reading the CoD because it takes too long to load
with my dial-up (and I usually have seen it in my daily newspaper, anyway.

That doesn't mean I would deprive the people who really enjoy
seeing it. Live and let live.

I do too. But I prefer just *one* each day. The multiple choices
take too much time, even on broadband. There's only one winner!

Yeah well, OK, CotD #6. If you'd only show up at the meetings more often,
we might more swiftly arrive at a more respectible CotD!

Ya BUM!!!

When I voted, it was 7:6 with one abstaining pro-chuckle. As long as
they are food-related, they are welcome and decidedly on-topic. Also,
easily kill-filed if someone doesn't like them.

I'll stretch my acceptance of them to cat cartoons (especially cute
one, but Garfield will do, since he usually fixates on food (or
naps)), but they are the first thing I look for when I tune into rfc
in the morning!

Did you have a happy birthday? My stepson's is tomorrow, the 11th.
25 years old and a real doll.

BTW, a mysterious, very heavy package arrived on my doorstep delivered
by a man in a uniform for me personally yesterday. Several items I
have coveted at my sister's house are now mine! Thank you Margaret.

I'll have you know that I voted "No"... the Chuckle of the Day is
clearly labled that anyone who can read can easily ignore. I
sometimes read it and sometimes not but it's certainly far less
offensive to my sensibilities than many other threads so if up to me
it can stay. However I do wish it was a bit more risque!

Sheldon,

Thanks for your support but we have kids here, so the CotD won't get any
dirtier than Pig Pen, who we've not seen for quite some time.

OH, good grief. What a whiner. Broadband has nothing to do with it.
