Default Fairy finger eggplant

Wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to prepare these? I want something
that shows how pretty they are. So pretty I bought them without a single
idea on what to do with them! The Ichibans are easy enough, got plans for
those, but no idea on these tiny little eggplants.

There are a remarkable number of pretty-looking eggplants but
the colored skin patterns seem to be much muted or disappear
when they are cooked. I wonder if anyone has any recipes that
preserve the appearance?

Well. That's a bummer! I really don't know since I've never had any
varieties except the Globe and Ichiban. Well, if that's the case, maybe
I'll just grill them.
