Although you didn't exactly say that candy makers
are moving because of rising HFCS prices, one could
parse that last sentence that way. Candy makers
are moving because of high sugar prices, not rising
HFCS prices. For most candies, you cannot use HFCS
as a substitute for sucrose, because HFCS will not
set up into a solid.
