I'm in the habit of eating fruit with yogurt or cottage cheese, and saw
these in Target's frozen section. They are Target's house brand (whatever it is) and are 12-oz bags of bing cherries frozen with no sugar added for $2. (On sale.) I figured for $2, why not? I got the blueberries too. Well, they're good. Texture lacks something compared to fresh, but that is to be expected. They are not slimy, just not as firm as fresh of course. Delicious, and something to have around this winter. |

I only buy them when they're on sale, but they're always yummy. I like the berries thawed with 40% cream and Splenda. That mixture is nice straight, with cereal, and especially over ice cream. --Bryan |

They were on sale and much cheaper than the alleged 'fresh' fruit. The 'fresh' fruit around here is rarely truly fresh... The cherries were used to make jam, which worked beautifully. The blueberries are eaten with yoghurt or on top of cereal. Don't have enough left for jam. We rinse them off before eating though. |
