I'm watching Julie Christy in "Away From Her" - thinking about you and
your little problem with putting things in the wrong places. LOL

I think "The Notebook" was more touching, but this is from a different
POV. The DVD is only in the first 20 minutes and it's getting better.
If you haven't seen either one.... rent them.

PS: If all "old women" could look like Julie Christy does now, they
wouldn't mind getting old. Hubby says if all men aged like Cary
Grant, they wouldn't mind so much either.

Can't say I've seen either of them, but I'll consider it

Heh. I was watching a movie starring Denzel Washington the other evening
- it was made in 2005, IIRC - and he looked *younger* than he did in
some of his much earlier movies - wonder how they do it?

She put a frying pan in the refrigerator after washing it.

It was most likely either a face lift or a soft filter. Men do it
too!

My take on getting old and older:
Some people mind getting old and hate the way they look.

Others are just darned glad to be alive and don't care how they look; but
some of these people still do care.
The nursing homes, as well as other places are full of these latter persons.
Every birthday is a blessing.
