Default Julia Child Mastering the Art - 2 volumes

As I had given these volumes away quite a number of years ago, often I have
regretted it; however, today DH found a bargain at Costco in a nice boxed
set - hardcover. The quality of the paper and print is quite good. $25.49.

For some reason, Costco in Winchester VA used to have lots of cookbooks, but
in the last year, there are carrying very few cookbooks. He found this in
Harrisburg, PA.
Happy to have it again.

You might also look at Julia Child's "The Way to Cook", published in 1989.

I always start with the "Joy of Cooking", and then reach for "The Way to
Cook".
It's kind of a restatement of what she had done to that point.

Yes, I mentioned to DH that "the Way to Cook" is a book that I like very
much.
I've noticed in the library that there are a couple of different editions.
If I ever get it, I will make certain I have the one I like best.

That's great! Really good books.

We used to buy a lot of decent cookbooks at the local Costco. However
gave up that membership and Sam's doesn't have a decent book department.

I did see it later at Costco in Winchester, but my statement still stands,
they aren't carrying as many cookbooks.

I have Costco and BJ's. I couldnt' live without them -- well, of course, I
could, but I wouldn't have as much money for those books.

We used to do both Costco and Sam's but the budget wouldn't allow both.
Sam's had the better filling station so that's the one we kept.
