(really only funny if you've ever been around a hungry cat)

A couple of weeks ago I came home from work and went to the cupboard for
some crackers.

Surprise!

These days I find my cat in very strange places. Freaks me out since I'm
not really a cat person.

Elaine, how pretty!

I was never a cat person, either. Suddenly, I had this cat. And yes, they
are sneaky. She was probably after your peanut butter. Or your crackers.
Or just a "cool place to nap" on the shelf. They like shelves. They like
closets. They don't like closed doors. Cats are weird that way.

I'd never had a cat before, either. This one just showed up January 6, 2001
and said "Yes, I live here now. Get over it!" And so she's lived here ever
since. And she steps on me, kneads on me taps on me and in every way tries
to wake me up to make me feed her before it's time. She's not starving, but
you know cats.... they try

I've had hungry cats do everything in that cartoon except the baseball
bat. That's why I keep my bat locked up in a closet.

It's not a cartoon, it's documentary.
