Default Whoa! Wish I'd Found This !!!

If this is really ambergris, it could be worth a lot:

I wonder what happened to it?

According to Wikipedia, since 2001 it's no longer illegal
to buy, sell, or import ambergris in the U.S.

I'd like to get some!

Mark, do you ever do anything except look up weird items online? Perhaps
you help Jay Leno's staff on 'The Tonight Show' for things we found on eBay?
If not, could be a future career for you

One of my favorite paintings is John Singer Sargent's "Fume'
de Ambergris", picturing a Moorish woman inhaling big volumes
of ambergris vapor.

I'd like to see Jay show up at this woman's house
and ask to see the alleged ambergris. And bring
along an "expert" (me with a fake mustache and
accent) to evaluate it as the "finest grade,
worth $2000 a gram".
