Never heard of him, but I like his broccoli rabe recipes.

Rocco's Broccoli Rabe Recipe

© Spirit Media 2004-2007 All Rights Reserved

Here are two recipes I gave for Broccoli Rabe on my radio show! One
calls for adding lemon juice and one does not, you take your pick and
enjoy!

-Rocco

Brococli Rabe
Garlic (to taste)
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to Taste)
Lemon Juice* (to taste)

Rocco Broccoli Rabe Recipe:

Clean and dry the broccoli rabe in a salad spinner, cut off the stems,
and sear over very high heat until charred and brown. Add some sliced
garlic, let it brown, and serve. Some people like to add some fresh
lemon juice*.

Brococli Rabe Recipe 2:

You can cook Brococli Rabe quickly until they are tender. I love to
cut the large stems off, slice them thin and put them in a bowl. Then
in a pan, I put olive oil, garlic and a salt and pepper. Then cover
the broccoli rabe in the pan for a bit and the water will steam them
fast. Don't cover it too long or it will turn gray. Then if you want
you can stew them in some chicken stock, garlic olive oil and it's
delicious!

This is the guy I think is hot! Andrew Knowlton, Restaurant Editor, Bon
Appetit
http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show..._64997,00.html

He is one of the judges on "The Next Iron Chef."
You can see him talking if you click on (and wait for the advertisement) the
video on the right side of the page.

Last show I watched, he and Ruhlman did a lot of facial snarling when they
were judging.
My vote is on Symon to win -- but who knows.

That used to be my motto -- now I've added another word

So many men, so little time *left* !
***

Feeling a bit sad today. A really good guy, so full of fun, joking, kidding
with the ladies -- you know, the kind of guy that calls all the women
"darlin' " and they all feel so special when he does -- buried this morning.
In his 60's.

We got to know him when in '96 I guess it was, I was looking at computers at
Costco and he came up to me and asked me what kind of computer I was looking
for -- but he was a man's man, too. Everyone loved him. His wife will
probably be inconsolable for some time; she really appreciated him.

Enough of that -- be good to yourself, Wayne.

Dee, I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. It hurts and its sad, and I
think only time easees the pain, be it for friend, family, or SO.

We have a dear friend who is in his 4th battle with cancer. He has also
undergone triple coronary bypass surgery and repair of an aortic aneurysm
(sp). He and his wife are our closest friends, and I fear this time we may
lose him.

All we can do is the best we can, for ourselves, our family, and our loved
ones. The rest is up to Him.

I supposedly went to HS with Carlos Santana. I didn't hang with his
crowd and didn't even know he existed at the time. Apparently a
friend sat next to him in art class. A few years after graduation she
told me (he was famous by then) that he was snooty and didn't talk to
her.

I had OJ Simpson in a college sociology class. I only remember him
because he slouched in the front row mumbling something inaudible when
he was called on yet the instructor fawned all over him. I didn't
follow football, but who can forget a name like OJ? It's odd and
that's the only reason why I remembered him. The connection was I
thought his name was as bad as one of my elementary school friend's
father whose real name on his birth certificate was TC.
