Andy, aren't you the one who started the thread that you are concerned
about being diagnosed with diabetes? If so, I suggest you not eat
everything on that menu and limit the starches. No pancakes with maple
syrup, and keep the potatoes to a small portion. One english muffin is
probably okay if you limit the other carbs. Lose the bacon and sausage;
they're nothing but saturated fat.

Wayne,

ROFL!!!

I only brunch once a quarter like that. This year was even less.

Good God bro!? If I brunched every Sunday like that, well... I shudder at
the thought!

If you mistakenly find yourself somehow in Media, PA, brunch is my treat.
Even David "the picky eater" would be welcome and I'd bet my last dollar
he'd find SOMETHING to eat!

Stan,

You stop eating Heinz Ketchup and I'll take your advice.

You have about 2 hours and 50 minutes to comply!

Probably a wise choice, dear friend.

I understand. When we lived in Cleveland, there was a group we frequently
brunched with who gathered every Sunday. We didn't always go, and it was a
bit much. We had to be sensibly selective if we wished to survive. :-)

That's a very kind offer, Andy! And tempting. If it just weren't so far.
:-) Oh, David would eat the sausage, potatoes (God forbid they should have
onions or potato skins), pancakes, and syrup, and he would be happy!

BTW, do post your test results. You have all of us concerned. Both David
and I are diagnosed Type II diabetics, both for about 7 years. We're doing
fine though, and if this is your diagnosis, I'm sure you'll do find, too!

Warm regards...

Wayne,

In a prior post I mentioned the Doc said to come in this Thursday for
results. He's an old Doc so he might not even get the bloodwork to the
doorstep pickup box by TOMORROW?

His home is half office/half home. Good thing, huh!??

Best,

Andy

P.S. My brunch place is right next to his office. TOO convenient! Just in
case, of course. --A

P.P.S. He doesn't hand out Brunch cards, in case you were wondering. --A

kili,

I'm about gout (rhyme) free.

If I get an attack I guess you could say I brought it on myself. But a
man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, at any cost on Brunch/Football
Sunday.

They have no clue about biscuits and gravy or waffles. I've griped with
them for years about that every visit.

They still let me in and treat me like royalty. I have owned the power
table for over 15 years. I should probably request a table red phone to my
Doc.

I look like a loosely attired (for expansion purposes) robotic male
mannequin in motion with a knife and fork. I've probably brought in more
biz from the viewing audience passing by on the way to the brunch tables.

I bet if Alan and I were regulars, the "All You Can Eat" brunch rules would
apply differently for us. "Take ONE plate and that's all YOU can eat!"
They'd make money on YOU.

That is a lot for brunch. I just got back from my riding lesson and got
showed and changed so it is time to start thinking about what to have ready
for my wife when she gets home from church. Coffee is a must, and either
cranberry or sour cherry juice. I have some nice bacon and breakfast
sausage. I am considering either, muffins, blueberry muffins, pancakes or
waffles. She will probably want an egg. If we keep it relatively simple I
can have brunch every Sunday until the end of the year.

I should be raking leaves but Sunday is a day of rest and brunch.

My clock has been set to the correct time all day.

I see the time that people post as EST (e.g., says that your post was sent
at 7:29--obviously, that's EST, as it's not even 7:00 p.m. in Austin yet).
When I lived in Houston, I viewed the time that people posted as CST. Is
this just an OE thing?

It's some ... international time protocol that makes it look like
everyone is in your time zone. It's set up on your computer
somewhere.
