Suck it up, man, we all have to do stuff we don't want to. He didn't have to be particularly nice. Just Hi, sign the books, next. No excuse to be actively hostile towards someone. You can have a tantrum later, after work. If he was acting nasty to some uninvited paparazzi, I'd say Good for him. nancy |

The public made him what he is; hold off on being nasty until after the book-signing. There are worse jobs/tasks he could be doing than greeting people and signing a bunch of books. I'm sure there are lots of cooks/cookbook authors just dying to trade places with him. Mary |

So I quit. Nobody is holding a gun to the head of these folks, making them take millions of dollars a year for being a celebrity. I understand that RR makes 4 million a year. |
