I apologize for offending anyone with my Tupperware link. I did not
know what exactly this group did and I'm sorry to have bothered you
with it.

I will remove myself from the group and again I'm sorry for posting
this here. I'm new to groups so I'm trying to find out what they do.

You're welcome to stay, as long as you take the sales link out of your
signature, IMO.

Try rec.food.marketplace to sell your wares. Although I have to say,
tupperware these days is so overrated when you can buy disposable (and
reusable) Gladware and others. So good luck with that.

It would be acceptable in the sig line if the poster was honestly
contributing to the threads on the group, not blatantly selling her wares. .

I suggest emailing her, in case she's no longer reading here.

She replied to me via email. She really didn't know she was spamming. I
told her to come back with a recipe or cooking idea, no problem. Just don't
try to sell us stuff since this isn't a commercial ng.

You are not sorry for posting here. You have eyes. You saw what kind of
group this was, and you posted the message anyway. Since Tupperware is food
related, I have no problem with the business pitch, but I do have a problem
with stupid liars.

I think it's mean to insult people's intelligence with blatant lies,
Michael.

Nothing overrated about buying something once and having it for the
rest of your life. I just can't afford to keep buying the other
stuff including the disposable stuff and throwing it away and buying
more and throwing it away and buying more and throwing it away. And,
of course anyone with kids gets pressure from those kids to stop using
so much of the disposable stuff what with the push on to provide
litterless lunches.

Well, some of us lose our plastic containers to relatives, who take
leftovers home and keep the containers, or forget to return them. In
those cases, I prefer the disposables. (I continue to contribute to
my DIL's stockpile of containers. LOL.)
