Ouch! Perhaps you ought to have turned off the power before you did that???

That's what people tell me! But since the plug is behind the fridge, I
would have to move the fridge. And to do that I would have had to empty it.

A cut raw potato helps in removing broken lightbulbs... ensure the broken
lightbuld is embedded in the cut end of the potato then unscrew...best
done when power is off.

I've used needle nosed pliers with that plastic coating on the
handles. It wasn't a refrigerator though and power was turned off at
the switch.
