I loved that guy's show. He had such an easy going approach to cooking and
turned out a lot of tasty dishes. I have two of his recipe books and one of
my favourite recipes came form one of them..... salmon fillets cooked in
phyllo pastry.

Am sure it was him that showed me how to cut and peel onions in 1 easy move.

This was during a holiday in Canada a while back and his prog was on in
the morning, don't think he ever made it to screens in the UK, more's
the pity

I liked his show, too. He always said it was "to give it flavor" when
he added pepper, which I found mysteriously charming.
