Copying things other people wrote??? Horrors of horrors! That would
*never* happen in this group...

A friend of mine in DC is moving cross - country and put his furniture, etc.
on Craigslist, he had a TERRIBLE time. People would call, make
appointments, never show up...he clearly stated in the ad "I accept CASH
ONLY; if buying furniture, please arrange to transport it yourself", etc...
He even had a PHISHER contact him, something about wanting to pay by "bank
check", etc...

One dumb bunny broad even asked him, "I find it a hassle to get to downtown
DC, could you bring the stuff over to my home in Alexandria so I could view
it in my home..." [!!!]

Finally got rid of the stuff, but he was really having conniption fits...

Others I know even had a hassle *giving* stuff away on Craigslist...

What a pain in the neck. I got lucky, sold my car on Craigslist in a matter
of hours.

Yep. We have friends who sell large big ticket items that shipping is
not practical. The stories I hear are crazy. eBay is better for most
things. Other than that, the old fashion newspaper works better than
Craigs list.
