Was watching TV today (Discovery Channel). They have a program showing
how different things are made. One of today's segments showed KitchenAid stand mixers being assembled. Didn't know they were made in Canada (That's where the show originates from and where things they show are generally produced). Was kind of interesting seeing what's on the insides. -- Jack N2MPU Proud NRA Life Member |

I did see an episode of John Ratzenberger's "Made in America". The
episode showed that mixers were also produced in Ohio. However, you made me curious, so I googled Kitchenaid. I found the following story which says that part of Kitchenaid is being purchased by Whirlpool and part is being purchased by Emerson. http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpag...C0A9639482 60 Hope they can keep the quality up after the transition. At the top left, it shows the current date, which makes one think the article is from today. However, closer inspection reveals the true date. Thanks for the update. |
