Default Speaking of eggs

I bought a dozen Araucana eggs at the farmer's market this morning, for
$6.

The shells are blue, the same colour as duck eggs. I have been assured
that they are not also blue on the inside.

Those are cool looking eggs. Were I to get some domestic
chickens, I think I'd get a few of those.

Nor do I think a few more chickens would be noticeable in
my neighborhood; they're already all over the place.

You wench!! I like those for decorating. If I were to buy them, they'd
cost me about a dollar each, if not more. First I'd have to find them,
though.

We used to have several white Pekin ducks as pets, and their eggs
had white shells. Shirley O. Corriher says it depends on the color
of the fowls' ears.

Awesome! And yes, I've since discovered for myself that the blue eggs
are normal colour on the inside.

If you're anywhere near Barb Schaller, you might want to give her a
heads-up.
