Default Annual baking frenzy

This morning the flour was flying. This year's offerings for my lucky
auction winner (and us):

the traditional eggnog bread, with craisins, raisins plumped with a
little rum, dried apricots, and a few pecans (Google for original
recipe)

Rosemary and garlic yeast bread

Cherry bread. This was an experiment. It was a standard fruit quick
bread, with chopped bing cherries from our freezer, almonds, and a
little almond extract.

I will probably do a bit more baking for other folks in the next few
days.

Cindy

Cindy,

Sounds like a busy day! When you get time, can you post the recipe for the rosemary
bread? Sounds delicious.

I went up to Ma's to deliver the baskets for her and Dad, as well as my brothers and
their families. We went on a mini baking spree...we made Rocky Road bars, French
Christmas cookies, cinnamon coins, and Russian Tea cakes. Tomorrow, I am making more
of the cappuccino love bites I mentioned in my cookie party post, as well as more of
the tea breads for some friends and a few neighbors.

I swear I will be sleeping from the day after Christmas to New Year's Eve.

My son and I, and other family/friends, are going caving on the 26th,
and camping overnight that night. We're staying at the state park
where we can run power to our tents for electric blankets, and
possibly a small space heater. With wind chill, it's supposed to get
down to ~10F that night.

Somehow caving in winter in Missouri sounds like a dumb idea. Dad let's go
wake up some bears, CAN WE? PLEASE?

Good luck. Take pix!
