Christmas here in Oz is over now...That is the main Christmas day.....Having
stuffed myself with so much food yesterday, I feel twice my weight and this
stomach of mine is starting to present a problem between myself and the
table....I can't get close enough and definitely need a large napkin to
catch the falling sauces etc.....

While we had a mild day yesterday of only a max of 22oC ( I believe it was
even much lower than the predicted temperature of 22oC)... I actually felt
cold at times. This is quite unusual for us here in this part of Oz..The
temperatures quite often soar around the 38-42oC here in Sydney, and higher
inland as well...

Perth, the place that Toddy (for those that know toddy, that is...I am
posting this to a couple of my groups) lives in Oz, had a predicted 39oC
temperature.. Even higher than up in our Northern Territory, like
Darwin.(33oC).. I don't know how folk survived at that temperature, even
though we normally experience it ourselves in Sydney..

I was sent the following video on the URL that follows, by a friend this
morning..It is an old one, but a little descriptive of what Christmas is in
Australia most years... will see why we mainly no longer eat the typical
English Christmas dinner here in Oz, like I used to when younger..

Hope you are all having a great Christmas in the Northern Hemisphere..eat
your hot Chrissy dinners, and freezing cold with snow at most
places....Actually I really envy your cold Christmas's..
