Default Refreezing smoked turkey

I took a half smoked turkey breast out of the freezer last Sunday evening
and thawed it in the refrigerator for my dinner on Christmas. I can see
the remainder after removing a few slices for my meal will long outlast
the meat's edibility in the refrigerator and my taste for smoked turkey.
Can I cut it into two or three pieces and refreeze, saving enough for a
meal or two?

Yes, I know, I should have thought of that when I originally froze it,
but too late now. I hate to waste it.

It won't be harmful to refreeze it, but there may some degradation in
texture and flaor.

It's not raw beef. Cut it up, wrap properly and throw it back in the
freezer. I doubt you'll notice a difference when you thaw it out
again.
