Default Boston Brown Bread

I had a craving a couple weeks ago for some Boston Brown bread.
Not sure why. When I was visiting my mother in PA I tried
to buy some at the Eat'n'Park where they usually had it, but
they did not have any that day. So, I came home and found
several recipes online. They are mostly the same, but I used
this one from Epicurious:

I didn't have any coffee cans around, but I have some metal
storage containers of approximately the right size, so I removed
the plastic lid and used one of those. It worked quite well and
the bread came out great. I had some for breakfast this morning.

Sorry, no picture, but it's a nice moist, cake like, bread with
raisins and so simple I'm wondering why I never made it before.
I will certainly be making it again, though it will take a few
more days to eat all of this one. It is a very rich sort of bread.
