Today is Epiphany, the twelfth day of Christmas, the day the Wise Men
came bearing gifts.

Gifts are nice, but nowadays Wise Men are hard to come by.

OBFood: We're having chicken something or other for dinner tonight.
Suggestions, o Wise Men and Women?

We three kings of Orient are;
Bearing gifts we traverse afar,
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder star.
O star of wonder, star of light,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect light.

2 Tbs. fresh parsley
2 Tbs. mustard seed

2 Tbs. orange juice

Boneless, skinless breasts, O Wise Man. I split them open, inserted
French feta, lemon slices, and fresh rosemary. I seared one side in
duck fat and set the pan in the oven to finish. When they're done,
I'm planning to drain the excess fat, and build a pan sauce with
chicken broth and French mustard. Or something like that.

If I remember correctly. Myrrh was used in preparing the bodies for
burial.

Goes with the French mustard. Also it was marked down for quick sale
this afternoon. As I understand it, French feta isn't highly
regarded, but it was what I had to work with, so...
