Default Taco Holders

I don't mind my tacos falling over on my plate -- maybe because I
like just meat, cheese, and lettuce, so there's not much to fall
out. Miguel (DH), OTOH has been bugging me for years about flopping
tacos. I almost got the typical plastic or metal holders, but I don't
need another gadget that we'll only use 2-3x per year. Instead, I just
ordered some of these things:

http://i23.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/8c/6a/f27d_1_b.JPG

We'll see how they work. And I like that they're paper, which is
recyclable...

And it will make Miguel happy. He's a very sweet guy, so that's
important to me... :-)

He's really not, it's just that he grew up using them. My mom never
bothered, so I keep forgetting he wanted them.

Neat, what company makes those? I've seen one brand of flat bottom
ones at my stupidmarkets, usually Old El Paso, IIRC...

So that's the deal. I don't really like Old El Paso shells as much as
Lawry's. I might try them though, just to see what DH thinks.

That's what refried beans are for, to prop up the taco on your plate. You're
supposed to hold the taco in your hand and eat it until it's gone anyway!

It even meets the CalOSHA 1:3 base width to height ratio for free
standing scaffolding (OSHA for the rest of the country is 1:4).

Looks like you could get some beer coasters and with a xacto knife make
them.
