It seems to me that whether you are in the evolution or the intelligent
design camp, there is common agreement that all humans originated from a
common ancestor. Given that, I think it's pretty clear that sufficiently
branching family trees can originate from small communities.

Obviously your readin' comprehension isn't very good since my comments
do not relate to the article.

YOU HAVE NO REASON TO RESPOND!

Who cares what you think about an article you have no business
responding to.

I grew up in a small coal-mining community in Pennsylvania.

After each high school graduation,
the "best and the brightest" moved off
to the city, to college, to better jobs.
They never came back, except to visit family.

Now imagine a 75 year period of
skimming off "the cream of the gene pool"
and leaving the remainder to re-populate.

We visited there after years away.
The younger generations are generally a scruffy lot
of welfare recipients, petty criminals, and illegitimate children.

I would think there'd have been some scientific study
of this generational decay.......

In order for me to give your post some context, to what are you replying or
responding to?

One of the splinters of this thread was;
The Southern ( hillbilly/redneck ) lifestyle.

I offered my observations of social changes in Pa.
