KNIFE FOUND IN CANDY HEART
LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) - Dollar General is removing Pokemon Valentine Cards
and Pops and similar items from its more than 8,000 stores nationwide. The chain acted after a Florida woman said she noticed that metal was protruding from a lollipop, and authorities issued a safety alert. In addition, Dollar General says it's pulling Dog Artlist Collection Valentine Cards and Pops, which is also made by Sherwood Brands of Maryland, from its shelves.
