Epicurious has a nice collection of Mexican recipes for folks who may be
looking for something different.

Don't waste your time with alt.food.mexican-cooking.

The group isn't about looking for something different.

Several members of this NG decided that they wanted to use the group
for a sort of Usenet "bar" where they could meet to hang out and talk
about drinking taco sauce straight out of the bottle, and getting
drunk and having diarrhea after eating too many tacos.

And, they don't believe in recipes, they just take what's in the
refrigerator, mix it all up and throw taco sauce on it and call it
"Mexican cooking".

Some folks just don't appreciate all that good Mexican food has to
offer. Around these parts a colon cleansing can run ya nearly $100. With
hot border food you can get the same effect for pocket change.
