I am sure that some of you remember Judith Moore who posted here as
Frogleg Frog. I just received word that she died on February 9, 2008.
We had a couple of 2 person cook-ins which I enjoyed very much before
I moved away.

I remember Frogleg Frog, I didn't know her name was Judith Moore...
this is sad news.

I remember Frogleg, but not Frogleg Frog... is this the same person? If
so, she was a good poster and I regret her passing. May God rest her
soul.

Maybe it wasn't sad at all? Maybe it was a "good death" and she is at
peace after a long illness? Maybe she just reached her expiration date
after having lived a marvelously long and happy life?

Sad for us, not for her. I'm sure she's fine.

It is double sad for us then as we've been bereft of yet another quality
poster all this time.

I just received a notice from a the family of a dear lady who is, as they
put it "experiencing her last days with us on earth". She was always a
class act and she is leaving us the same way. One can hope that this was
the case with Judith Moore, her passing being a class act. As long as there
are memories of her (and the postings are archived) she will always be here
among us.

She offered some good advice about freezing kale. It makes the texture
softer, and I discovered, freezing kale also makes it taste sweeter. I
had only used fresh kale, borrowed from my sister's garden.
