Kili, I don't know a f##k about tuna casseroles, but please keep those
mushrooms far from it. You know, I've got a disease: i friggin' can't
stand the idea of 'shroooms and fish in the same dish.
Then, do as You prefer. Mine was just a terrified kinda rant.

Mushrooms and tuna were meant to be together!

This is one of the few times when fish and mushrooms are not
revolting.

I like mushrooms and peas in cream sauces a LOT. Creamed chipped beef is
great with both added.
No, I know that's not traditional "chipped beef" but it still is good
eating. On toast points or toasted rye and white bigazz croutons.

I dunno.... peas and mushrooms together don't appeal to me.
Separately, ok... You cook, I'll eat.

I guess the gauntlet has been thrown, so which do you think is better?
I'd venture to guess that the chipped beef combo would be less
revolting.

As for me - if I added anything to chipped beef, it would be
mushrooms. If I added anything to tuna, it would be peas.... hey!
Come to think of it, I *do* add peas to creamed tuna. )

I do like peas and *well* sauteed mushrooms together.

As far as chipped beef and creamed tuna, I'd prefer the peas buttered and
on the side. Although I would add peas to a tuna casserole. I wouldn't
add any vegetable to chipped beef.

Different strokes...
