You are under a huge misconception. This isn't a Google Group (despite how
you found it); strictly speaking it's not a "forum" and there is no "owner".
This is Usenet. Even Google provides a link from their Groups page
explaining what Usenet is:

"What is a Usenet Newsgroup?

Usenet is an online bulletin board system that began at Duke University in
1979. Usenet users can post messages to newsgroups that can be read (and
responded to) by anyone who has access to the system through a newsreader.
Over the years, the number of newsgroups has grown into the thousands,
hosted all over the world and covering every conceivable topic."

When folks subscribe to RFC and announce they like cooking and say they'll
come back [later], we don't expect them to. Happens all the time, usually
when school has let out for a break. IOW we don't take it seriously.

Not to mention, trying to read RFC via Google Groups is pretty much
pointless due to the flood of Google Groupers posting SPAM for purses,
watches, ad infinitum. Google doesn't filter out ANY of the crap. So I
don't agree with their statement below, either:

"Google Groups contains the world's most comprehensive archive of Usenet
postings, dating back to 1981. Using Groups, you won't need a newsreader..."
If you don't have even a half-assed newsreader like mine LOL there's no way
to filter out the garbage.

Geese, it would have just been so much easier to just phone up the owner and
tell him there was a complaint rather than go through all that complicated
denial. ; )

*I* happen to be the owner of this group.

It's a good thing that you decided to leave because I was about ready to
kick your worthless butt out of here.

You are such a loser, you should resign from every group that you have ever
joined.

After that, you should sell your computer. Then go and **** yourself.

Sure, but first you have to get past the call screener. Then there's
the "consideration" to be offered. It gets so complicated. I cry for
complicate.

Let me assure you, there is no CABAL. No CABAL at all. Yes we have no
CABAL.

If it was easy to find then probably deniability wouldn't be

I SAW that show! I loved the tune that they both sung!
"You say Cable, I say CABAL"

(verse)
Things have come to a pretty pass,
Our romance is growing flat,
For you like this and the other
While I go for this and that.
Goodness knows what the end will be;
Oh, I don't know where I'm at...
It looks as if we two will never be one,
Something must be done.

(refrain)
You say eether and I say eyether,
You say neether and I say nyther;
Eether, eyether, neether, nyther,
Let's call the whole thing off!
You like potato and I like potahto,
You like Cable and I like CABAL;
Potato, potahto, Cable, CABAL!
Let's call the whole thing off!
But oh! If we call the whole thing off,
Then we must part.
And oh! If we ever part,
Then that might break my heart!
So, if you like pajamas and I like pajahmas,
I'll wear pajamas and give up pajahmas.
For we know we need each other,
So we better call the calling off off.
Let's call the whole thing off!

Have you seen my tattoos, Janet? They only show when I want them to.

just started spring break. A friend whose son is now on spring break
offered to have him drive my car to SC for me. Um, no thanks!

I'm glad you do, there's a big front coming out of north Texas headed
your way. Miz Anne is standing out front with a funeral home fan (one of
those with the gaudy picture of the Last Supper on it) fanning it your
way as we sure as hell don't want it. The sun is shining, it's about 60F
out there and the wind is blowing up to 20 knots.

I suppose it's time somebody brought up Alan Sues...

First off, thank you for NOT disclosing their location. It takes away
the fun when people know. "-) Rob's always saying, "Spread your
cheeks so they can see better."

Second, I'll email you with the rest of it. Yes, they ARE permanent.

well, there is a cabal, but they're merely a front for the people
behind the real puppet masters.

I got my glasses at Trader Joe's. I've been wearing drugstore reading
glasses for 12 years. I found the pair I'm using now in the parking lot
at TJ's; I almost stepped on them when I was getting into the car. I
think they're prescription glasses. But they're just right, and they'll
probably last longer than the $6 glasses I usually use.
