Normally I try not to initiate posts about my personal life. But
you guys were so supportive when I told you I was laid off last
November, I had to let you know that I got my job back! There
were some permanent personnel changes and the company (we process
food) is doing much better. I'm back to being the executive
assistant with even more duties. Hooray!!

So thanks again for those kind words. I really appreciate it! :-)

ObFood - Tonkatsu pork (thanks to aem) for dinner. Not sure
about the side dish -- we're pot-lucking with our dear friends
tonight and I don't know what they're bringing. I'm sure it
will be good, though...

Sounds good. I have a pot roast on. I believe it will be creamed spinach and
mashed potatoes on the side. Perhaps rolls of one sort or the other. Not
sure. I will probably so some carrots for the littlest one, he loves cooked
carrots in almost any way.

Sounds like you all had a good dinner!

We had leftover Indian tonight (palak paneer and chana masala, with basmati
and naan). Tomorrow's dinner will be lemon-peppered baked talapia,
pierogies, steamed broccoli, and mashed sweet potatoes (boring, but good).
