Thanks Wayne... I'm now officially *old*. LOL! All in all, it was a
good day. Got a haircut on Union St., then had dinner at Plump Jack -
which is around the corner on Fillmore.

Yep, I had dinner at Plump Jack. It's been in business for years and
I've wanted to go there for a long time... but we have so many good
restaurants in this town, you can't make it to every one of them.
Fortunately, this one has managed to stay in business for years - so I
made it.

I had the duck, hubby had the short ribs - we split a salad and bread
pudding. They are very accommodating with wine. When you order by
the glass, they give you a taste and you can decide if it's what you
really want to drink or not. I didn't like what I ordered for the
white or red (both were too fruit forward and sweet), so I told them
what I was looking for and they brought it to me on the second
attempt. I can't complain.

Some might say I'm in my own private Idaho, but I still claim it's San
Francisco.
